Bible in the left hand,

A whip swung below the armpits,

And a gun in the right hand,

When the patriots were hunted and burned alive,

Detained and rot behind the steel rods.

I was there,

Before they divided and ruled you,

Called you savages and barbaric

Even before they tilled your mind,

For the seeds of despair be sown.

 I was there,

 Before the hot and cold combat,

Armament and disarmament,

Bi- polarity and impoverishment,

That of my lovely continent!

                                                                     

I was there,

Before the planes in made,                  

Volkswagen n’ Cadillac on the road,                                            

Global surfing, iphone and iPod,
